The boy and girl, named Teol and Onija, travel to a peaceful kingdom where the morals and laws of society are founded upon logical proof of a supreme Deity. Fascinated by this exotic society, the two youths discover a love of learning about culture, politics, economy, and religion. As years of peace pass, they not only befriend royalty, but fall in love. Tragically, war makes them fugitives once again, and they journey across a continent where violence, oppression, and a multitude of conflicting belief systems challenge them to search for truth, justice, and goodness. After experiencing slavery and an empire at war, their choices eventually take them to Paradise, where their dreams of peace and unity are fulfilled in an Afterworld kept eternally free from death and evil by an all-powerful God.
